Hey folks – I’m wrapped up in the day (as I have been with the rest of my vacation thus far), so today’s post will be informative – but brief.
2011 was a good year for GRDX:
- We made a lot of connections.
- Established a small, but dedicated, writing staff.
- Quadrupled our traffic to the site and developed some internal processes that would bore most of you.
In-brief I’ll just say this — 2012 will be a great year because I think I’m about to start taking this blogging thing seriously. As an example of what a “serious” blog can do (and I seriously say that with a ton of admiration – I love what this team puts together each time they kick out content), I’d like to share The Madbury Club’s 2011 Madburies with you and encourage you to become a regular visitor of their site.
If there’s one story of theirs youthat you want to catch in the year, it’s this one…
Seriously – you won’t be disappointed by that A-Z rundown of the 2011 year. They did a great job.
Following that, I know that the New Year is a time of making resolutions for a lot of people. I personally have some myself this year too: I’m going to master my German (1-2 hour a day), workout more (2 hours a day), focus on this blog and just make less excuses in general. Acknowledging that I’ll definitely have my moments of weakness, I decided to look-up some tips.
Yesterday I mentioned that there were two important How-to’s I wanted to get out there before the year ended… well… this is #2 from Howcast.com.
You folks have a very Happy New Year! Please drink responsibly if you’re going to be doing all of that, and continue to frequent the GRDX blog. You’ve checked us out thus far — don’t pull away when we’re about to turn things up
Peace, and thanks for reading this year.
PS: NO NEW POST TOMORROW. See you all again on Monday, January 2nd.
