I just wanted to pay homage to a permanent body art form that has been embraced by people for years, and will be on elderly bodies in unprecedented amounts when Gen Y grows older.

I will warn you, this site contains nudes from all walks of Life.  Young People, Old People.  Skinny People… Not-so Skinny People :-D   Men & Women.  They are not partaking of any lewd actions.  The photos are tasteful in my opinion, and worthy of being shown to anyone claiming to have a “high taste” of Art.  It took me a while to find them online though – I won’t lie.

That said, I’ll also say this: Don’t be stupid and peruse through this at work if it’s going to get you fired.  My job is artsy, and they know I blog – so I don’t think they’d hold this one against me if I post it in the spirit of Art & Expression.

It’s a flashed based site, so I wasn’t able to take you directly to the page I want you to see.  When you get there – click the “gallery” link in the upper left portion of the site and sift through the images.  There are a lot, and they’re all pretty good.  So just take the time to inspect the nude figures (these folks are like double brave – they’ve got tats & they’re posing nude).

I don’t have a tattoo yet – but I will be getting it once my discretionary income is right and the temperature is too my liking.  It’s the ONLY tattoo I will ever get (I think).  I’ve wanted one for years, but couldn’t really think of anything I’d want on me “forever” (no tattoo removals for this guy please).

When I get it – you all will know.

Oh — And I lifted the following from the About Section of the site:

Tattoos evoke a range of reactions – from interest, astonishment, and admiration, to reverence, to consternation and abhorrence.  They are met with open mouths and frowns, their bearers are judged and misjudged, awaking fear and desire in all of us.

From the book 1000 Tattoos by Henk Schiffmacher

How true is that??  Makes me think anyway…

So what do you think of tattoos?  Be honest – whether you love ‘em or hate ‘em, no one here will judge.  Do you have any?  Tell us about them if you do.  Anything else that this post brought to your mind — use the Comment Section below.

Peace and thanks for reading.
