Given the time of year – I felt like this post was extremely appropriate. You hear men cheering on their favorite players – sure – but another common call of any NFL Season is to hear women say things like, “Oooooh (insert player’s name here) is sexy – look at that body.” Haha – suddenly feelings of inadequacy set in for a few seconds for the guy she’s with like Isaiah Mustafa just dropped in with a new Old Spice ad and said “Look at your man – now look back at me…” I’m just sayin’.
So what does the average man do in this case? He begins lifting weight. A lot of weights. AND taking supplements – trying to push his muscles to the extreme in order to mentally catch-up with the pedestal he has now placed NFL players on. However he isn’t acknowledging that these players do far more than strength training to establish the physical condition they’re in. What do they do you ask?
